Roasted Broccoli Recipe Is Naturally Gluten Free

Gluten Free Roasted Broccoli

Have you ever tried roasted broccoli? I developed this roasted broccoli recipe over a year ago. I get tired of the bitter tasted of frozen broccoli cooked in water or stir fried.

One day I decided to roast the broccoli just like I do my asparagus. It was a hit for the family and this ends up getting made at least once or twice a week.

Lovely Roasted Broccoli as a Whole Food!

I’m a whole food girlie, and I love vegetables. As a child, my family had vegetables every night. Always a  salad,  plus corn, broccoli, peas, green beans and my favorite mixed vegetables (the ones with the Lima beans. I just adore Lima beans).

My mother boiled all the vegetables (except the salad). Although I was used to the vegetables, I did not always enjoy the vegetables until I got older and learned the different ways to cook delicious veggies.

Did You Know you Don’t Need to Boil Vegetables

I love peas cooked on the stove in a pan – a little oil or butter and it is just so lovely. The texture is different which changes the bite and I have a whole different relationship with vegetables now. it’s a good relationship now.

And that brings us to my favorite way to cook broccoli. Roasted. Wonderfully Roasted Broccoli is naturally gluten free, dairy free and vegan.

How do we do it? Well, I am about to get to that.

This recipe to me is an easy one. Both daughters love it and that makes it a win win in our house. I hope you try this delicious approach to broccoli and you roast play with the recipe a bit.

Sometimes I play with the recipe. We have added a little chili crisp to the recipe for some heat. Sometimes I add a little Parmesan cheese at the end for a little umph. The only limit is your imagination.
