Nan Mei Wild Bud White Tea for Antioxidants is Naturally Caffeine Free

White Nan Mei Tea - wild buds

Nan Mei Wild Bud White Tea for antioxidants is naturally caffeine free. I found this out about two weeks ago. I got diagnosed with Chronic Fatique Syndrome. That was the day I learned I needed to go caffeine free immediately. How lucky was I to find caffeine free white tea a few miles down the road at Saratoga Tea & Honey Company.

It took just one phone call (their staff is exceptionally lovely to deal with – its amazing) to find that indeed this is a naturally occurring decaffeinated tea. The website is very easy to order from. However, I was am very glad I called. Knowing it had no caffeine in it was pretty important. The order I placed took a few days to arrive and I was able to brew it immediately. I was overjoyed to find I had tea again.

Baking is Hours on Your Feet

As a baker, I can be on my feet from 4-12 hours a day depending on the demands of the bakery. This simple fact dictates I use the antioxidants in tea to fight the pain in my feet.

Celiacs is an autoimmune disease and inflammation is part of my every day. I fight it off as much as possible with products, but a few very long days in a row means added inflammation I would prefer to live without.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Caffeine

Finding out I had developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome on top of everything else was not fun. Having to cut out caffeine was insanely difficult, but it led to my sleeping better at night, so a perceived loss of caffeine became a huge win. I had cut caffeine out years ago because I was told by a doctor that I clearly had a caffeine allergy. Caffeine is one of those things that your body thinks is wheat if you have a leaky gut and for years I did.

My gut was very leaky and since I lived on caffeine, I became allergic to it. I had cut it out totally. However, as my gut healed and caffeine no longer flooded my body from my gut, I found I did not have the severe allergic reactions as long as the little bit of caffeine I drank stayed in my intestines (yes, too much information).

The first thing I found out after getting the diagnosis of CFS, was that caffeine was now a huge no no. You cannot know how your body is actually doing with fake energy being dumped into it. I had to go back to no caffeine and it had to be immediate. My old contacts were no longer working. The original caffeine free white tea I had used for years (thank you stash) was no longer available. I started at square one.

Naturally caffeine free Nan Mei White Tea

A simple google search revealed that not only was there a naturally decaffeinated white tea called Nan Mei Wild But White Tea, but it was available just down the highway from me. I found white tea years ago before I ever had a Celiac diagnosis. I found that it helped relieve the pain I had in my joints.

White tea is just as delicious as black tea, but harder to find. I brewed my own at first. Fell in love with silver needle white tea. I just realized that I really love tea. White tea still has caffeine and so as my caffeine issues got worse, I really tried to go no caffeine at all. I found Stash Decaffeinated White Tea with Raspberry. Oh was I a happy girl. A few tea bags in a jug and I had tea – every day.

As my stress levels increased, so did my blood pressure. I soon went to white tea with hibiscus. I fell in love with the hibiscus juice in egypt, which i found out is simply hibiscus tea. I found that the hibiscus added what I needed to keep my blood pressure at an even keel. Finding the Nan Mei White tea buds simply meant I went back to brewing my delicious white tea with hibiscus.

This nan mei and hibiscus is wonderfully tasting. I add a little aspartame (I know, but I am very used to it) and a little stevia (can’t help it I actually like it) and I am a truly happy girl. As we prepare to go national and start shipping, my stress has definitely increased and it is not showing in my feet.

We are working longer days and thanks to the Nan Mei, i do not feel it as much in my joints. So, whether you get it from the Saratoga Tea and Honey shop, or where ever you can find it, I cannot recommend this tea enough for the antioxidant properties it offers as a way to minimize the damage of either celiacs, aging, or galactosemia. Antioxidants go a long way to mitigating the damage of bad habits and free radicals in the body. For me, it is a delicious way to keep physical balance with all the physical issues my body has developed over time.
